I am a co-signer on a leased vehicle. The primary signer recently filed bankruptcy and I told him not to reaffirm the lease since I got a terrible deal but had no choice at the time. His discharge is coming up this month. I on the other am going to file before his discharge happens. Will I be able to keep the car until my discharge happens or will they take it when his discharge happens? Will they take the car if I don’t make payments on it during the bankruptcy process?

I was told my bankruptcy was filed this morning and I would like to start rebuilding my credit as soon as possible. All the tips I have read refer to what to do after you file bankruptcy but they don’t say if I need to wait the 2-3 months it will take to be discharged before I can apply for credit.

The judge in the case said the NHL is entitled to a relocation fee if the Coyotes move.

The Judge is using the formula the case involving the Oakland Raiders moving to LA.

Value of new market(Hamilton ) – value of the franchise where it is now = Relocation fee
Doesn’t include territory rights fees to Toronto and Buffalo.

The value of the franchise will go down as a result of the bankruptcy filing.

Should we wait until the court hearing is adjourned and our bankruptcy is done completely (this month)? We are facing more battles with my health as a result of, I believe, is a form of malpractice. However, I have heard that if a lawsuit is being filed, a bankruptcy cancels it out. I am not sure what my options are.

Well my bills for my loans and credit cards are due again and I’m wondering do I still have to pay them since i already paid my lawyer and filled out all the paperwork for the chapter 7. Or do I just let it ride until he does whatever it is he does?
